Visit the Information Centre in Port Adelaide which is situated in the old Police Station Building (originally Black Diamond Corner because of the black coal deliveries in the days of the sail boats) On the corner of Commercial Road and St. Vincents Streets, Port Adelaide.

The Red Lighthouse The Red Lighthouse stands on the wharf area next to the new Fishermen's Wharf Markets (marked as Queen's Wharf in your Atlas Directory). The lighthouse stood originally at the mouth of the Port River in 1869. In 1985 the lighthouse was installed at its present site by the South Australian Maritime Museum to celebrate South Australia's Jubilee l50 year.
